Wakarusa returns this June
Wakarusa
Festival is excited to announce its return to Mulberry Mountain near
Ozark, Arkansas June 3-6th. Mulberry Mountain, nestled in
the scenic Ozark Mountains of NW Arkansas, is absolutely one of the
finest festival facilities in the country.
Last year’s Wakarusa at Mulberry Mountain was an
amazing time and 2010 promises to be even bigger and better.
Wakarusa by the numbers:
*4 days of non-stop foot-stomping music
*Over 100 of your favorite (and soon to be new favorite) bands and
artists performing nearly 150 sets of music
*6 stages to catch the 24-hr action on
*Nearly 15,000 of your closest friends and fellow music lovers
*Fans from all 50 states and many foreign countries
Simply put, Wakarusa at Mulberry Mountain is a
celebration of music and Mother Nature. “Peace, love, understanding and
a whole lotta music are happening now in the picturesque hills and
valleys of the Ozarks. “Wakarusa, in a word, rocks” said the Times
Record of last year’s Festival. To go along with the world class
music lineup, Wakarusa offers a host of activities such as gorgeous
mountainside hikes, swimming, river floats, disc golf, fishing, even
daily morning yoga and hoops lessons. There are over 25 incredible food
vendors from around the country to provide a fix for sudden hungers and
over 50 arts and crafts vendors to shop at between musical sets.
Wakarusa will even be hosting a Friday Night Costume Party complete
with great prizes.
