    You may have seen him with the Thackery-Cate Band, now see what RJ Mischo sounds like fronting his own band. You'll get two chances to do so in February: First, on February 12, at the Squid and Whale in Eureka Springs, and then at George's Majestic Lounge on February 19th in Fayetteville. Come and see why RJ is considered a Blues Harmonica Master and is invited around the world to perform at major venues and Blues festivals. Join the celebration of the release of his 10th CD, Knowledge You Can’t Get In College on Greaseland Records.
    For these special shows RJ is bringing in an all-star band that will rock the clubs of Northwest Arkansas. On guitar, Jeremy Johnson from St. Paul, MN. Jeremy is known as one of the finest blues guitar players in the world and gets the call from Kim Wilson (Fabulous Thunderbirds) to play in his Blues shows. Also on guitar will be Paul Bryant. Paul began his career with Big Joe Turner and PeeWee Crayton and he is also a former member of Canned Heat and the William Clarke Band.

    RJ can also be heard on 25 additional CDs as a guest or on compilations with Jimmie Vaughan, James Cotton, G. Love, James Harman, Kim Wilson, Candye Kane, John Mayall and others. RJ’s Harmonica playing is on Nationally Aired TV Commercials as well as documentaries on the Discovery Channel and Independent Movie Scores. He has contributed his Harmonica expertise to two published Harmonica instruction books and has conducted workshops at Music Schools in the US, Europe and Brazil. In addition to fronting his own bands, RJ has been hired to perform in bands alongside, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Jimmy Thackery, Earl Cate, Junior Watson and Grammy Award Winning Pinetop Perkins.
